A neighborly idea that grew into an institution
[VERIFY WITH CLIENT] In the early 1980s, our founder saw something her working-parent neighbors needed and couldn’t find: a way to bring a trustworthy, carefully vetted caregiver into their homes — someone who felt less like a stranger and more like a second mom. So she started making introductions, one family and one caregiver at a time.
[VERIFY WITH CLIENT] Word spread the way it does when something genuinely helps people. What began around a kitchen table grew into one of the Bay Area’s most established in-home care referral agencies — woman-owned to this day, and still run with the same personal care it started with.
[VERIFY WITH CLIENT] Decades later, we’ve helped place caregivers for thousands of families across all nine Bay Area counties. Some of the babies we helped care for now call us for their own children. That continuity — that trust passed down — is the thing we’re proudest of.
